Will it do well?
"Do well" is kinda hard to quantify for anime. The industry relies on the shitloads of merch and other peripheral sales for it to be profitable, and despite GFL's relative success in Japan, its userbase is still relatively small compared to the behemoths like FGO.
Making a full blown GFL anime that's high quality isn't cheap, and it's a massive risk if this business venture doesn't capture a sizable audience and ship a lot of associated merch. Even Yostar with its gigantic bankroll ran into problems with the Azur Lane anime, so hopefully GFL can avoid the same problems.
But we got two seasons of GFL Healing Chapter?
Healing Chapter is what we call Schrödinger's anime.
Healing Chapter was pretty well-received within the GFL community. It's not what many people expected when MICA said GFL got an "anime" though.
MICA is a small indie company (lol) and we probably can't expect anything on the same level as Rage of Bahamut or Babylonia, but at the very least I hope it's above the level of Azur Lane/Kantai Collection.
I mean, I liked KC.
It's like a third eye was opened across the entire GFL fandom at the same time.
I don't think we're allowed to post 90% of them here.
