Level 10 Effect Every 4 Attacks, aim for 1 second, targetting furthest Enemy. This attack deals 350% Damage, always hits, and ignores Armor.
Likely to be a mainstay of your backline for some time, the Jaeger transitions from a painful enemy into a powerful ally thanks to Protocol Assimilation. Modeled after a Bamboo rifle, Jaegers feature a high RoF for their Damage, but a somewhat lower Damage value to comparable Rifles.
Jaegers offer several other bonuses, featuring comparable Armor Pierce to a unit with a 5* AP ammo, a longer firing range, which is important for SF units as they use the longest firing range of any unit. Second, with a relatively high Rate of Fire given their Damage and Armor penetration, Jaegers commit reasonable DPS, and finally bring their Skill to bear. A Skillshot that fires at every 5 (4 at SL4) shots, taking 1 second to aim, and dealing multiplied damage that ignores Armor, with the caveat of targeting the furthest back enemy. Due to the way Rate of Fire works, this means that Jaegers will fire their Skillshot no later than 5 seconds, and as early as 3.5 seconds, before Tile Buffs or allies Skills are considered.
At this time, SWAP Jaegers have not appeared in the capture pool, so any investment into a Jaeger can be considered safe, although the upcoming Neumenum will eventually compete with them.
|High Priority||SL4 High. SL 4 is important to get the number of attacks between Skillshots down to 4, but after that, the return on SL5 is comparatively marginal.|
